Thursday night Werner and I decided to check out the local greyhound raceway. We got lucky! Thursday nights are free to locals and military ID's, according to the brochure, but because they were doing construction work in the building/seating/betting area, EVERYTHING was free. Free admission, free drinks and free beer, and free fun. Of course, betting was NOT free, but still, we really had a good time and enjoyed seeing these athletic dogs run, run, run. They seem to LOVE chasing that mechanical rabbit around the track! We had no interest in betting on these races - we just enjoyed watching the dogs and the Japanese tourists, who were having a lot of fun it appeared!
