We had a typical German/Chomorran brunch for Easter. It's too hot to cook a large evening meal, so you cook early and eat early! Easter was pretty much the same as stateside in the U.S. The food takes on a more tropical flair, but otherwise, Easter Egg hunts, Easter baskets, egg trees etc. are the norm.
Later Easter evening we went down to Gun Beach. There is an old Japanese shore gun still set up there from WWII. We also met a nice military couple from Texas, and chatted with them for quite awhile. All in all, a relaxing Easter with good food - the way it should be.
